yeah, air filter is fine, its like new still, ill try and get codes some how, ill change fuel filter and repost the outcome, i still dont see if being fuel like i do from the crap but the results dont seem like fuel well the jerking moms mini van did when fuel filter was gettin bad, but the black smoke? and throwing a code and then it goes?
yea black smoke is unburnt fuel, thats why im thinking HPOP. Maybe its late and im thinking wrong, but might try unplugging the IPR and seeing if that does anything, not sure if it will tho
Trucks don't come stock with a filter on the frame rail, thats something added on. Try the CPS and see if that helps, it will make the truck do weird things
ipr? sorry still new to the ford trucks, to be honest if it wasnt so cheap id have got a 12 valve :$ embarassed to say this after all the help i have got on there, but i personally like the looks :$ and love how its all mechanical
IPR means Injector Pressure Relay.. I'm bad with those.. if you unhook it and the truck still starts then it's bad.. Thats all I know someone will chime in and explain.
