cracked cam journal
stripped another block down for a spare only to find out it is cracked on the #1 cam journal right where the fuel pump ecentric bolts on. It looks to have went into the oiling hole. real bummer
Im thinking the timing chain has broken during its life.
I have alot of welding expierience in this department but this is in one heck of a spot... how much stress is put on this part of the block?
