Cab/Clearance Lights?

First off this is my first post here.....

Why don't F-150's have them as an option any idea?

I have an 04 Lariat Supercab and would like to install a set...

Anybody here have any luck / trouble installing them and a good recomendation for a brand / kit prefferably not to expensive or hard to install?

Thank you!

links describes the process and what I prefer

@ still smoking
just pull your compartment thingy down and do the install, then put it back up...your install will be a little more involved than mine was, but at least you don't have that Moonroof to contend with

O ok ya I might have to do that. I just didnt know how hard it would be. I wasnt sure how it came off and how hard it was for the head liner to come down. But I might have to give it a try they look sweet.

x2...or did I already vote since I said use them in my install thread

either way, you can see how low profile they are in mattd17's pic. the OEM Ford cab lights are pretty darn large

here is mine for reference

recon makes several different styles, all with the same shape housing as mine and Tylus... you can get smoked, clear, amber. All of which have amber lights, and some are LED, some are Xenon.

the style you see above fits the 03-09 dodge's.... you can also get the 94-98 style lights, which are a different shape (similiar to the superduty oem)

the 99-02 shape is similiar to the 03-09, but has a different bolt pattern.... since our trucks do not have them, you could use either style.
