I made this and works fine: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> purple w/ yellow tracer tapped up to switch and then the other side to ground. (donot cut the wire, splice into it). <o></o>

As I told you it works fine and I love it, I only use with the DIY exhaust brake and it really works in downhills great, you have peace in your mind, and your breaks would appreciate the use.
i see in your sig that you have 3.55 gears, so in what speed/rpm range do you use it? i was also thinking of doing an exhaust brake to use it with.
I only use it with the exhaust brake and they claim that is usefull in more than 2000 RPM, but I have used it till 1000-1500 RPM still working fine, with no problems, if you let them connected below that RPM the motor will stall. I dont know exactly about the speed range, I just see the RPMs.
