Well guys just got back from dinner, and as I walked out, right in front of me is a Raptor. No disguise, as naked as the day it was born. I'm here to tell you boys, pictures just don't do it justice.

The lift, the broad stance, meaty tires, overall body panel changes, and interior are incredible. I'm not into off roading, but gotta tell you it is a must have. The Raptor I saw was in that bright blue available for the 2009, and it looks better than the orange seen in most of the pictures floating around.

Those of you interested in actually owning one, it's worth the wait!

 

i would like to have got one but from what i found out its only going to come in a super cab

 

I bet that blue is a sweet lookin color man. I was trying to find out in other sources, to see if the Raptor was gonna be a limited production truck? I cant see Ford and SVT keepin them limited when people are gonna buy and run'em in the ground.

 

c'mon Screw cab Raptor. I move back to the mainland in Jan 2011 and a I'll need to buy another vehicle then

man I would have needed a towel once i was done looking at that thing. I wished they ventured all the way over here. That is super cool you saw one up close, i envy you. But i envy the guy who was driving it more lol

 

i thought the raptor only came in the orange and black?

 

The one I saw was the new bright blue. I has the black grill and wheel lips. First blue one I have seen. Up till that point I have only seen the orange ones. They are starting to become more plentiful at work

 

Those are the only colors they have in the pictures. I wished I could find it but i found a picture of all the colors. If i recall them right there is orange, blue, black, white, a kind of metallic purple i think, and im pretty sure there was a green one.

But i am positive of the blue, black, orange, and white.

 

i seen one at the houston auto show last month. truck is sweet looking. i talked to my dealer and they said they are begging ford to get a couple of those trucks on the lot. right know they have 2 shelby kr's so the raptor shouldnt be a problem. i would like to get my hands on one

 

yah me too, but i wouldnt try and get one untill it gets the 6.2 in it

 

I just got a raptor promo in the mail, it says a 500 hp 6.2 will be available in the summer of 2009

 

whoa 500? thats awesome. But from what I heard a while back the raptor R had 500 hp and all it had was a different tune and a more aggressive exhaust from the standard raptor. All of the promo stuff i have seen is the 6.2 at 400 hp, maybe there are newer promos. they could have decided to uncork the 6.2, i am hoping M.Collis is right and the 500 isnt a typo

 

i don't think they've printed anything saying 400....i think thats all been rumors
