Lucas oil stabilizer

Just my.02 worth,I will never use Lucas oil additive again.I tried it in my powerstroke and didnt like the results(this was before I started using synthetic Rotella)it made it hard to start and it started to have this build up and thickness that I didnt like.I also tried running it in my wifes 04 Tahoe and it started knocking and ticking at start up and ran rough and had a loss of power(not to mention a loss of mpg).It has taken me FIVE oil changes to get it all out of her Tahoe(Ive always ran Synthetic oil in the Tahoe too),so thats just my.02 worth but we all have had different experiences with different things right?

Also, in his tests, Bob uses the non-synthetic (much thicker) Lucas stabilizer. Maybe a more fair test would have been to use the full synthetic oil stabilizer, which is made to be mixed with synthetic oil. Bob used synthetic oil in the test. Again, not defending Lucas in any way. However, an 'apples to apples' comparison would make more sence. I have used Shaeffer fuel additives and also Lucas. Both have given me decent results.
