What do I need to add a remote entry module on a 96 F250 4x4. I bought a module F3VF-15K602-AC. (was told this fits my truck). When I went to put it in there were no connectors to fit this module. Thanks
I just went and had a basic alarm with keyless entry, light flash and horn honk added by a car audio shop it was under $300. In the past I installed auto lock kits by hoffman. Is that a ford part ?
I have looked everywhere under the dash. There is a six pin female connecter with 3 wires (white/purple, grey/black, black) in the area you described. The connector on this module has a 26 pin male connector and a 16 pin male connector. Thanks
Unless the truck came from the factory with the Keyless Entry, the plugs are not there. It's a completely different dash wiring harness. Even the door locks are wired differently.
Thanks for the info. I guess I will have to do some wiring to get this to work. Does the antenna connector on the module go to the radio's antenna or does it have its own antenna for the remote FOB?
I Just bought a remote lock kit from LMC Truck. About $108 after shipping. The only problem, I think it was made for a truck without PL already installed. I'm having trouble installing the kit into the existing powerlock circuit. I would rather keep the power lock switches working if possible. But the wire diagram is kind of vague, so I'm not sure were to start splicing. Anyone else have experiance with this LMC kit?
