Thinking about a tach and gauges using the pillar mount system for my 97 F150. I want to put a "Z" series tach and maybe trans and oil temp gauge in from Autometer. Has anyone put this setup in and how does it work and how do you like it?
Also considering mounting the tach on the steering column with a specific pod from Autometer. Has anyone done this and how is the visibility to the factory gauge display?
I've pillar mounted a boost gauge and fuel pressure gauge on my 2000 F-250. It looks great and is easy to see while driving. Autometer is a good choice.
