Anyone ever make a heated windshield washer fluid mod? I know my wife's Escalade and my GMC that i just sold had it from the factory. Up here in the North, it was one of the nicest options that came on my truck.
Just wondering if anyone ever attempted it. I dont think it would be hard to do. You could probably buy GM heater module and configure it to work in our trucks.
I thought it could be cool, especially with the factory upfitter switches on the new trucks.
I have a Micro Tek, which is the supplier for GM's system. I got it cheap and so far I am not to impressed. GM had a hugh recall due to short circuting of the modules. I've seen Hotshot kits on Ebay for $35.
You could probably just put a peltor on it. It will take a bit of power to keep it running over night is the only problem I see. Or you could put a coil of copper pipe in the tank and run engine coolant through it.
