maybe its a good cheap way to replace the rusted out factory box or maybe they wanted a stronger box.

Just wanted to say I really like the look of these logger boxes, it kind of reminds me of the old military jeep truck boxes. Does anyone know who makes /sells theses boxes and what they go for?

the logger box sure makes a truck look tough. i don't know if i would swap it for a stock box,but i like the look better than a flat deck. if i could not find a good stock box i would consider the logger box. i see a few around here (vancouver b.c.) one type has a Grizzly name on the box. i would guess they are a manufacturer.

Here is the web address to a company that makes these and other aftermarket boxes http://www.rebcotruckboxes.com/ Don't show prices ( at least not that I saw in my brief look) but they show several variations on the theme, mostly newer designs, but I'm $ure they could build boxe$ to $uite your $pecification$!

they replace the boxes when they purchased them.
the dealerships here used to have tons of take off boxes to get rid of whenever a fleet sale was delivered
this used to be Ford country
