order from radius arm back cupped washer cupped toward the rear then bushing then bracket then the metal spacer then another bushing make sure the small side of the bushings are touching going through the bracket and spacer then the 2nd cupped washer and again cupped to the rear then your nut I did this yesterday along with new c-bushings on my 78 trust me the c-bushings are definately worth the hassle of changing -jeremy
Just to add my two cents here since no one else seems to have seen it. My 78 also had the thick spacer that is shown in Cody's pictures. Didn't make sense to me when I came across it anyway, but I left it thinking it perhaps had something to do with an alignment issue of some kind......any thoughts?

Sounds like as good of reason as any! :)
BTDT myself even, but wasn't enough for my situation so I moved the radius
arm bracket.
I'm planning to time how long it takes me to remove the rivets holding the
radius arm bracket and replace them with bolts, when I do the other side.
