Just to let everyone know I'm new to this site and will probably be asking many questions. I have a 1953 F-100 that due to a wiring harness fire,(original harness), and transmission missing low gear, I have decided to just go through the entire truck. At the moment I have just mated a Chevy 700R-4 tranny to a Ford 302. I know it's herecy to have a chevy component in a Ford, but I had it sitting here and it was just rebuilt. So I adapted it. As I progress on the truck I will let you know what's happened.

Welcome Darksider !!! No matter what is under the hood it all relates to what you put into the project. Good luck and go to car shows for inspiration.

Welcome to the "Henry Ford Clinic" Where its run by the inmates. It dont hurt to have GM componets in your F100, just hide it real good. Look in my gallery at my valve covers.
