If it is say 6" X 6" I would just use a piece of sheetmetal to patch it. The old rule is to leave as much factory metal as you can. 18 gauge would suffice.
Otherwise floor pans can be bought from several sources and they all seem (in my opinion) to really get all their stuff from the same place. I personally have gotten sheetmetal from LMC, Bronco Graveyard, Dennis Carpenter and Blue Oval.
All was Made in USA, LMC surprised me on that one!
