414 code need to fix it

I have a 96 f150 5.0/e4od and it wont pass inspection without fixing this code from popping up. This is the explanation

P0414 Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve A Circuit Shorted

Any idea what is causing this? The truck does have an FMS e303 cam, a K&N and a flowmaster catback but everything else is stock cats, manifolds and all.

The air injection system has to solenoids near the coil, I'm not sure which one is "valve A" but either one of these is shorted internally or the wires going to it are.. possibly at the connector.

I replaced both of the solenoids and I haven't got the code back in over a week so I guess its fixed. The last code I have is a 1400 code. <TABLE width="90%" align=center border=1><TBODY><TR><TD width="10%">P1400</TD><TD width="90%">Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic Sensor circuit Low Voltage</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

The sensor in the rear was replaced not too long ago with a brand new Ford part. There are no problems with the speedometer or the transmission. Any ideas how to fix it?

Have you had the codes cleared?

Some will go away once fixed, after about 50 starts.

Ok i replaced the DPFE sensor and elimiated the 1400 code. Now I have a 411 code that eventually comes back.

P0411 Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected

Any ideas?

I already replaced both solenoids but they were used.
