ya i like Aaron's design as well. I also like the state silloette ones. The only thing i would try and change in the ford oval design is that underneath "Ford" where is says "Truck Enthusiasts" i would change the font just a little bit so that it still fits with the rest of the font but so that its a little bit more readable and not as old english looking....but besides that they all look great
i made this one using the logo ford used from 1912 - 1928
i tried to make it an oval shaped sticker, but i cant do it on the software i am using unless i start with another image and merge layers and BAH......SO just imagine this sticker as a white oval.
Aaron - I like this a lot. I think it looks really good. Nice job.
i was forced to scrap what i was working on last night......it was getting uglier by the minute!
Aaron:
You do such nice graphic-arts work.
thanks! but im just barely able to chop pictures together....i dont know if that counts as graphic arts! my computers dont have photoshop, so i downloaded a free program called Gimp. its rather complicated, but once you figure some things out you can do some cool things. i wish it was geared towards text a little more, it doesnt have any cool effects for text. straight line writing and color. i probably just havent found the magic tool to manipulate it yet!
steve had a few ideas, anybody else going to try their hand at this???
Here's the modified silhouette. I really would've liked to include the website on there somewhere, but I couldn't find anywhere to put it tastefully.
I've also got a friend who is good with graphic design that is working on something. I haven't seen it at all yet. I just told her to include Ford Truck Enthusiasts CT Chapter and www.ford-trucks.com onto it. I'll be interested to see what she comes up with.
