Picked up a 'New' X

I've been lurching around the site a few weeks and now it's official ! I picked up a 2000 Ex (6.8 V10) 4x4 this weekend and so far I love driving this thing... I also have a black Suburban that I gave my wife and OMG these 2 trucks are day and night !

The Looks:
I think the front and rear was updated. The rear bumper has the sensors in it - but I don't hear anything beeping when I reverse and it doesn't have the button on the dash for it ... The cowl hood looks pretty intimidating and at night the HID's looks pretty damn ! I also want to pickup some foglights for the front in a few weeks. I just got the windows tinted this weekend too ...

The interior is in mint condition and looks like no one ever sat in this thing - The steering wheel though looks a little grimey - but I'm going to pick up a new steering wheel cover later this week.

It also has some IPCW crystal clear rear tail lights which I'm not to big a fan of and am going to be putting those on eBay - if anyone here s interested shoot me a PM and I'll send pic's etc... I'm picking up new stock tails on Wed.

Upcoming Mod's:
Then I have to add a dvd/lcd screen setup ( probably 2 behind the front seats b/c the ac / heat controls are in the spot I would normally put a LCD screen ! As soon as my 2 year old got in the truck he said NICE - but daddy where's the TV - LOL ... He LOVES the truck and wants to go for a ride around the block every time I get home now ! lol

Pretty much mpg stinks as can be expected - heck I had a 5.8 93 Bronco a few years back and 10mpg's was the norm on that as well... atleast it doesn't need 93 octane ...

Here are some pics I took this morning

Thanks guys ! Looks like a real good bunch of people on the site and I've already got a lot of info from going through pages and pages of posts

Cbrad -- I really like the tow mirrors on yours and the fogs ... If anyone wants to trade my heated mirrors for a set of tow's - I'm all game for that !

Yeah I thought I kicked the modding addiction when I sold the mustang - now it's starting all over again !! lol

I only tow an open trailer on occasion if I need something for a job... but the option to be able to tow anything from a load of supplies to a skidsteer is priceless. I love that I can throw sheetrock/ plywood/ racks etc... in the truck if I need to in a pinch at a construction job.

I was unsure about the hood at first and now I really like the look it has... The tow mirrors are definitely on the list for sometime this year.
