I went to get my ex jack out the other day and found that someone had taken it right out of the back.Does anybody know where I might find a replacement.I'm having trouble locating one.Don't want to get stranded on the road without.
I still think those are dangerous and injuries waiting to happen. Someone is gonna have a car roll away or the bag is gonna pop out or shift and someone is going to get hurt.

All things that can happen with a regular jack if you don't block the wheels and place the jack securely.
Whatcha gonna do if you need to jack the beast on soft ground... makeshifting a base with a board or flat rock would only increase the danger of the things you mentioned. These X jacks are proven reliable and while designed for off road use, would work it all situations.
May I suggest instad of getting a factory jack that you must crank up and down which is a work out to begin with. Replace it with a small hydraulic bottle jack, it fits in the conpartment just fine and all you have to do is pump it up. Like I said it's just a suggestion, good luck.

I second that, check harbor freight tools... they often have various sizes on sale cheap..... make sure you get one with enough lift...
does X jack make a hose to fit over a 4" exhaust??? also it looks like the xjack is about $200... Fire departments and tow trucks have been using air bag lifts for years... I am sure they are safe else the company would never be able to get the liability insurance coverage to do business. I wouldn't mind having one but have better uses for that money at the moment
