After pulling my heads to fix the blown head gasket, I found that my heads are the D80E. The pistons are flat with small "notches" in them for the valves. I was wondering if I could successfully swap to E7TE heads while I'm in there...without worrying about piston to valve clearance issues. Or pushrod length. I'm running 1.7rr's and a stock cam BTW.
I was also wondering what is the complete casting number (part #?) for the E7TE heads with smog holes.
How much hp and torque would I gain by swapping these heads?
