Truck Weight

When I was driving home from town today, I decided to pull into the weigh scales close to my house and weigh my truck.

03 supercab shortbox lariat diesel. 1/4 tank of fuel, nothing in the box, just me in the truck.

Truck weighed in at 3340kg, which is 7363 lbs.

This is just a random info post to anyone that is curious, or in the future who might be curious what a similar truck weighs in at.

those trucks got some weight on them for sure, i dont want to hit the scales with my dually

Sheldon must weigh more them me..my 350 1/4 tank of fuel long box ,same cab as his came in at 7270..lol

Mine was about 7250. I weighed in at the land fill with some tree branches in the bed, me not in it. Take out the branches & put me in it, I figure it's up around 7350. LOL...

EDIT: Dang, Sheldy -- we're built about the same. I'm 6'1", two-fiddy. LOL....

Chit, just weighed the truck, full tank of fuel, new work box, tools, and supplies, 10,250lbs with me in it.

OUCH! that's going to hurt the millage.......
