I have a 2006 and wondered if my topper will tif the 2009 ?

 

It will not.

 

I doubt it. What would probably mess you up would be that the top of the tailgate appears to be a few inches thicker on the '09.

 

by topper do you mean a cap? Or just a tonneau cover?

also, if it's just a tonneau cover that sits on top of the bed rails, I don't see why it wouldn't fit. This platinum owner said he was able to re-use his cover on his new truck:

on a cap, I doubt it would it would fit properly based on the new flare on the top of the tailgate. So the back window on a 04-08 cap probably wouldn't close properly against the new 09 tailgate.
