Nice looking truck and topper!
I have the same model of topper on my current truck. The installer did the splice-in method to power the third brake light and it didn't last very long. The installer also pushed the topper too far forward on the bed and the topper contacted the rear of the cab and rubbed off all the paint. I don't know if this will be a problem on the Superduty but it sure was on my Titan because the rear of the cab was curved but the bed and topper weren't. Repaint on the cab and topper.
I think the Leer 100XQ is the best looking topper available. Mine has been fairly resilient. The paint is in good shape after almost 10 years. Most of the problems are of my own making. The hatch mechanisms (latches and hinges) seem to need to be adjusted once a year.
I hope the light and switch have been improved. Mine is kind of cheesy and never really put out much light.
