I was wondering if it would be worth my time and money to put a set of factory headers off of a 302 H.O. out of a Mustang on my 93 Pickup MY factory Manifold has cracked and I found a good deal on them but I am not sure of the exhaust work I have to have done to bolt them up and if the gain would be worth it any help would be appreciated Thanx

I looked into it before I bought the summit shorty's I have on my 88, and it was alot easier to put in the summit headers, than to have the new pipes put in. Plus the new headers were only $160 plus shipping.
Plus, take a good look at the factory headers & you'll see all of the crimps in them.

Headers are supposed to be free flowing. With all of the crimps in the mustang headers they don't flow as well, as the custom shorties! The ones I have on my truck were custom bent & welded.

And they aren't that bad looking even after 2 years in service.

Which isn't bad when you consider the cost of shorty headers.

And they are emissions legal in 50 states.
