I found a craigslist ad selling headers for a 302. The ad says "I have a set of used long tube headers for f100 with 302. bought them for my 72 f100 but sold my truck". He says he thinks they are flow tech. He got them used but in good condition. They're $60.
My truck is a 1977 F100 2wd. Would they fit my truck? I'm probably going to have to put catalytic converters on my truck to pass emissions to make it a daily driver so I thought I could incorporate the headers when I do the cc.
I'm not trying to make my truck a racer but figured if I could improve hp for little $ it would be worth it.
I would say they'll fit, but having headers on my 302 2wd with factory A/C the passenger side was a PITA to install. I ended up cutting the trans cooler hard steel lines that run up to the radiator and replacing them (with appropriate trans cooler rated rubber lines) to get them out of the way of the headers. The transmission cross member is the only other thing you have to get around but that's pretty easy.
