Battery drain

What's normal for battery drain, ('08 F-150 5.4 auto). My battery goes dead if it sits for a couple weeks, I checked & it has .3 amps drain.

No way it should drain to the point it is dead after sitting for a couple of weeks unless you have an accessory that is on constantly. Think about it, if that was the case every vehicle on the dealers' lot that had not been started in 2 weeks would have a dead battery. Time to go back to the dealer and get a new battery.

Could be the Alarm/immobilizer. My car used to drain dead after a few days if the alarm was left on.

300MA is to much.. If you are checking Amps at rest the MA reading should drop after a few minuets to 50-75ma tops
