Im not a cam expert but that should be fine... What kind of edelbrock intake is it??? performer ??.. The best thing i can say is go with low to midrange on everthing thats what the truck needs because of the weight... Needs lots of low end torq... I have seen a lot of the mustang guys run the real big heads & cam & they dont start making power till 3000-3500 rpm...i have raced some mustangs like that and we get them out of the hole so bad they cant make it up...the mustang has more HP but we got more tourq...

Thanks.. It runs good for a small block PU... I know theres guys out there with big blocks with turbos & superchargers that are really fast... Will see how it does when we start spraying it.. Going to start at 50 shot & go from there...This is to much fun..

that aint nothing no offense. A friend has a 88 mustang with a 460 big block twin turbo'd. Goes 8.21 @147 mph. its a straight drag car but still. we had to do so many mods to the firewall and front suspension to make it work. I drove it down the strip bout 3 months back did a 10.01 and bout crapped myself. then went again went a 9.47 and peed a little. i wont lie i peed a little bit. its scary.
