Stupidest Redneck Ever
And actually I am just trying to tell people what the original redneck was.
Coal companies tried to squash them for wanting a union and better working conditions.
Felps Baldwin the security company hired by the coal companies, murdered coal miners and Sid Hatfield, a sherriff.
The Army even used planes with home chemical and explosive bombs trying to stop the revolt.
Miners with red bandanna's around their necks came together with anything as weapons against the companies, the state police, the Army and Felps Baldwin who wore white bandanna's around their necks with machine guns and rifles.
Very few people know where redneck came from or what it really means.
Yes, taking a pick to a fight with a machine gun is not really bright, but if the pick is all you have it's better than nothing.
Many of the employee rights everyone has today, came from rednecks that took picks to a fight with a machine gun.
I guess as I think about it today, redneck was probably even the right term here.
When you have to, you make due with what you have to work with.
Pistols, picks, clubs and shotguns in the miners hands against 30-06's, machine guns and WW1 airplanes hand dropping bombs for the coal companies.
They stood up for what they believed and knew was right, and in the end, came out on top.
Sorry for going far from the topic, but I have to stand for what I believe also.
Yep, I am a redneck hillbilly and proud of it even though I am not a coal miner.
it is really a rediculous story. i would say you have to post pics to prove it or don't post anything about it. anyone can post a symple story on the net true or not, thats why we all want to see pics. to prove its true. i consider the time i spent reading in this thread a compete wast of time, i guess thats about it for now.
hav24wheel, you would think someone could enjoy a funny story passed from one person to another. Yeah it happened. Don't know exactly how. All I can say is there were wooden lift blocks used. As i've stated before, he took the blocks off again. I havn't got a chance to talk to the owner of the truck. I actually have no flippin' idea what happened to him.
Ryan50hrl, try NOT clicking my threads if it upsets you so much. I've posted two carnage threads. Both u-joint/driveshaft related, and i've had pictures on both. And BOTH times, everybody took it way to far. I suppose your definition of carnage differs from mine. When it leaves a part mangled, yeah i'd consider it carnage. I guess i'll post "RYAN'S VERSION OF CARNAGE" next time I post something up thats really bad.
Dave, thanks for the information on the topic. Its news to me so its kind of nice to know.
TheTinian, just for you, i'll take what pictures of my truck I have and post them up. I'll go make a thread right after I post this.
And to everyone else, the "BS" comment has been thrown out. If you don't have anything to say about it besides that its "BS" or that i'm "GULLIBLE" then why bother posting? Been said, don't worry about it.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
A friend of mine bought a 1971 1210 International 4x4 Pickup and did his own DIY lift kit. He too tried to build it with blocks, with a 6" high by 2" wide block of steel that they shoved under the leaf springs. Again, no new U-bolts, but he bought about $15 worth of all-thread to solve that problem. They hand-bent them over the vice(shoulda been a clue I thought) to make the U-shape then slapped em on.....but wait, they didnt have lock washers, so they tightened the nuts down and then welded them to the all-thread.
When it was all said and done, the brake cables were too short, so he drove it without brakes to school, everything was lifted too much for the drivelines and steering linkages, so he could only turn left, but he made it 3 miles to school. Then in the parking lot, as he was turning, the front all thread broke on the passenger side, shoving the tire up into the fender/passenger door. Totally destroyed the truck with the carnage, and he was only doing maybe 7mph....lol
