question about hauling
Hi I know some you guys use your trucks for hauling and was wondering what you guys charge per mile .
The reason I am asking is a friend of mine was offered 6 trips down south to pick up some camper trailers I would just like to know the average going rate per mile to compare what he is getting offered.

all depends...are they paying him to drive down empty?
when I hook to a trailer its any where from 1.00-2.00 a mile....I look at terrain(mountains will cost more in fuel),tolls ect....If you want shoot me a PM with the locations and info on their offer and I can figure a cost and let you know roughly how much he would make on it.
