My bad. I not positive about all the details on the axle. It was on my rig when I bought it. The past owner said it came from a 1999 F350 superduty. 4X4 front axle, and the lug pattern is 8x6.5. I don't remember what year Ford changed to the 8x170 pattern. I will double check the numbers in the morning when I get home from the horse sale. Thanks for the help

This Dana ID number is not listed in the 1990/2002 Ford Truck Parts Catalog.
Ford went to the metric bolt pattern in 1999 for F Series trucks.
I'm also suspicious of the Dana's ID suffix of 1BA.
I've never seen a Dana axle installed in a Ford product with that one number, two letter suffix.
With Ford, the suffix is composed of one or two numbers, like this for example: 610010-1 or 610010-11.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I finally got some time off work and cleaned the axle up and found a partial piece of the tag. Also on the center is the the cast number 248, 248mm = 9.76 inches. The dana 60's gear is 9.75 right?
The axle was made Aug. 19 2003 which should make it a 2004 model.
Part number on the tag is 611337-1 on the label. On the long tube the number eched into the metal is 611337-1BA. The pic did not come out as clear as I hoped.
On the front of the cover are the following numbers (look at the pics): 47707-1
211 03
The spacing is 8x170. I thought it was 8x6.5 but when I got the wheel off I found a spacer that converted it to the 8x6.5

Ford went to the metric bolt pattern in 1997 for F Series trucks, so it cannot be from a 1999 anything.

There's a Dana website where you can run it down.

Please ask questions in the 1968/2013 Full Size Vans (Econoline) forum, this forum is for 1973/79 F100 and larger series trucks.
I cannot help you, I don't have a Ford truck parts catalog after 2001.
arent all dana 60 and 70 10.5" ring gear? on the outside of the center housing in webbing area near axle tube hole is gonna be a very obvious and larger
raised 60 or 70 cast on the center housing webbing area
