Thank you for the schematic. The rear door lock switch? Is that just for the rear two doors or for all the doors behind the front two seats? (i.e. the side doors also) Also where would it be located?

<O</OWhen I was testing the wires for the rear door actuator I did notice a wiring harness that was not used (in the side door jamb of the right side rear door). I think that it was either a 4 or 6 pin plug, with 3-5 wires.

I am thinking that maybe if I get an after market door lock switch and wire it in then I might fix the problem??

When I replied in the last post, I had to re-read your first post, and I am still not sure and a little bit confused on what you have there. Let's see if I get this correct.

You have a 99 van. It had no electric locks or windows. You put the whole 92 door on the 99(left and right front), and both had electric locks and power windows, and you had wires already there in the 99, so you plugged the 92 wires into the 99 plugs.

That is correct. I also replaced both side doors (barn style) and both rear doors. They also had power locks and pluged into the wiring that was already in the '99. I replaced a total of 6 doors. All 6 came from the same donor van.

Go to the master control lock switch. The black/white wire should have 12 volts on it all the time.

The brown wire and the red wire both should have continuity to ground. To be safe and not burn your meter up, disconnect the battery, and then put your meter in ohms rx1, and then put one of the leads on a good ground, and the other on the brown, and then the red. Both should show a short to ground.

If they do not show a short to ground, go to the rear power door lock switch(passenger side rear door) and find the same brown and red wires. On the other side of this switch should be a pink/lightgreen and a pink/yellow. Do the same check, both of these wires should be ground.

If not, then go to the right hand power door lock/window switch(passenger side front). The pink/lightgreen and the pink/yellow both turn back into red and brown wires. These still should be ground. If not, coming out of the switch should be two black wires. These should be ground.

You can follow what I am doing in that diagram in the link. "F" and "G" go to another page and are the actuator wires. If you follow the red and brown wires from the right part of the diagram, up and over and down through the first switch, and the over to the left most switch in the diagram, you can see were the grounds finally end up in the lower left part of the diagram.
