hood release latch

Ok, the hood release latch inside the cab is extremely hard to pull and get the hood open. Sometimes are easier than others. any tips on making it easier. The darn thing is starting to tick me off. I wasnt even able to get it open this last time i just tried like 5 minutes ago. Is there something i need to tighten or losen? Something need replacing?

Good old WD-40 might help out. Try spraying that latch assembly down and get some in the cable.

thats what i was gonna try. but it just seems like its something is either to tight or lose. but i think im gonna go try that right now.

White lithium spray will work a lot better than WD40.
