I have a 91 F150 4x4 302. I recently found that I have clogged cats and cracked manifolds; So I ordered headers from Summit, and have decided to put dual exhaust on. I just have to get the cats and I'm ready. BUT I don't know if I should do away with them or not. I would like to, and thought about it; but I need the air tube and O2 hooked up. The other thing is that if I keep the cats on, what type should I get? Would I be fine with a universal cat? or Should I pay more for a direct fit one? any info is Great

taking off the o2 sensor on a EFI 302 doesnt hurt anything. In fact we have noticed actually better performance, so i would say throw them off.
