It is your torque converter. Samething happened to me and that is when I sold my 4-wheeler and bought a BTS tranny.

Blake 7.3L- I just shot BTS an email, trying to get an idea of what i'm looking at to replace my tranny. Do you recall how much it cost you to get it shipped to OH, cuz thats about 1/2 way to MA (i think). Thanks

It was $4100 for the whole shooting match, but I sent them my tranny ahead of time so there was no core charge. I found it easier to call Brian. Great guy to talk to, here is the # 1-870-422-3673. You will love there product!!!

Thats not bad, about what i was expecting to pay. So hopefully it will only be a few hundred more to ship it here. I plan on getting the tranny first and dealing with the core charge, i can't afford to have the truck down for that long in the middle of the winter. Ya all i've heard is excelent reviews of all there products and services, the same with John Wood but hes to far away. So i decided a while back that he was getting my business, it just edded up happening sooner than i expected.

i had the same problem i shifted my truck to 2nd pulling a load up hill when i switched back to drive the light started blinking and the truck started shifting real hard. Try unhooking the batteries and cycle the key couple time clear the codes and hook it all back up. That fixed my problem also my trans has 155,000 on her still runs like a top.

Mine had 162000 on it when it went out. You can try what drbigknuckles said but it only lasted a week the first time I tried it a after that it would not last more than a day.
