I think the total for yesterday (26 Jan) was 71,000.....

We've not even seen the expected several-thousands in layoffs for Wachovia here in Charlotte......

 

Add Target to the list. No numbers yet but layoffs have been announced.

 

Hold on to your rear ends, because it is going to get worse before it gets better!

 

Laissez faire capitalism = bad.

 

Rampant greed in capitalism = bad.

Encouraging greed in capitalism = bad.

Selling your soul for $.05 a share = bad.

But that's capitalism when morals are thrown by the wayside.

 

And its sure not the capitalism of the founding fathers or even our grandfathers.

I've been trying to find a job for a year along with everyone else, it's not gonna happen anytime soon. Government screws everything up along with people who live by their means. Those are the people that I know who make 55k-120k and gripe that they want to find another job because they can make more money elsewhere. Please.
