thats kind of what i was looking at a single plain weiand with a holly carb. fuel injection is nice but thats a lot more money. it only gets driven in the summer since i live in minnesota and sault kills up here. i know fuel injections brings reliability but carbs are easy to tune if you know what your doing. and i dont get good milage either. you have to keep your foot out of the petal for that and i have problems with that concept. thanks for all the great info guys you do a good job
no its still going to be a street bronco but i have went through two e40d trannys and two 8.8 trac-lock rear ends and i got tired of replacing parts with stock ones that i broke soon after. the axles are standard housing but beefed up axles, gears, lockers, and carriers. motive said if i built them right they are supposed to be good up to 600 horse power but we will find out if thats really true or not.
I love my 8.8 with the A4OD, but it is not all stick. I did change gears out in front and rear difs but the A4OF+D is basically stock with a chip telling it when to shift when not in 4 wheel drive. The 5.8 rocks for customization.
