Replacing power lock actuators??
well I'll tell you, it takes a lot of patience.
Take the door panel off
drill out the 7mm rivet that holds the actuator in place from the outside of door
(its real low under the door latch)
Proceed to fish the actuator off of rod from inside door
the hardest part is trying to find a rivet big enough to put the actuator back on with.

as for the rivets ford has long used the 1/4 diam alum peel rivet for these applications the rivet you need also needs a specialized rivet gun to set them in place if you lack the gun just go buy some 1/4x20x1/2 hex head bolts and they will work just fine as there is plenty of room down in the door to reach the bold head
I just replaced mine, I used the old mounting bracket because it still had the plastic on it. I used a carrage (sp) head bolt. filed it out so the square would fit tightly in the hole and then carefully installed it. Whe I tightened the nut down, I cut off the end. There is plenty of room in the door jam for the nut as long as you cut off the end
