Check Reds Headers in Ft Bragg Ca (www.redsheaders.com, I think) he sells the current version of the Smithy glass pack mufflers. I have one (!) on my 50 Ford with flathead 6, was the same price as a cherry bomb, and looks cooler, but I think the sound is pretty much the same as a standard glass pack.
what do these sound like compared the glass pack on one of today's engines. i have a 79 400 and am thinking of getting new glasspacks or the smithy mufflers. any imput would be nice thanks
I had them i my truck, they were 2 quiet for me, i still have them, i will sell them, i only used them for an hour so. they are 2in and out, and have a light blue power coat on them i have the chrome nice clamps to to go with them they dont crimp the pipe. let me know my email is f250@nycap.rr.com
