$$$$$How much is enough ?$$$$$$$$$
Im looking to have duel exhaust put on my 2001 F-150 Supercrew 4X2 with the 4.6 ltr. V-6 I was going to take it to midas or minieke (sp?) or some other larger exhaust company. The thing is I dont want to spend more than like 300-350 bucks on a system....rite now I have 2 thrush turbos on there and they sound great....but I couldnt hang any exhaust hangers so they rattle like crazy and have a bit to much drone in the cab. So I had thought I would go to a shop and have it done. They would have to either weld on the old or a new Y pipe to connect the 2 pipes again to convert it from true duel back to single exhaust into duel after the muffler . How much do you think larger companies like Midas will charge ? Its a sunday so I cant get a quote. I was wanting the Gibson Extreme system where the pipes come out and the corners of the rear bumper...but for some reason its 200 bucks more than split out the rear. Any help ?
