It's possible that my searching of the site before posting ability is lacking in skill. That said I have tried to find my answer but I have only discovered contradicting information. So here goes:
I have a 2002 f250 7.3 with manual a/c. I think I have traced the heater hose back to the firewall and found no heater control valve. I have documentation that shows vacuum diagrams that disagree. it seems that I may have a vacuum hose somewhere that is not closing the mixing gate and allowing hot air to mix when I have the dial set to all cold. Before I jump right to tearing into one assy I was trying to locate all the components.
Am I missing something? Is the control valve on the cabin side of the firewall?
