Heater vents control problems

Hi, I have a 1994 bronco but it is not stock. It has a stroked 351 (405 cu in), and a Holly carb. There is absolutely nothing computer controlled any more. My problem however is the HVAC vent controls. My controls work when you put it on defrost and floor but when you put it on mix, nothing happens. Did search on this forum and found an actuator under hood and one under the dash. The under hood works fine but the one under the dash (center, right under control panels) doesn't work. If I move it manually, it opens the (mix doors). There is a blue vacuums hose attached to it, and it doesn't seem to have any vacuum. Where do I go from here? Where does this blue vacuum hose get its vacuum from?
Thanks ahed of time.

I didn't see this before, but you're right, the door is vacuum activated, you need to search for any disconnected lines behin the dash and in the engine bay, near the A/C blower.

Thanks, will try to find the "other end" of the vacuum line.

I believe the other end of your hose is attached to the hvac controls on the dash. If I recall correctly from working on a crown vic it gets its vaccum from a canister under hood.
