new spark plugs

I've been having trouble with my truck stalling randomly in gear...it was suggested that i change the spark plugs and wires.. so i had them replaced. Now not only is it still stalling but the engine is also running real rough, makin all sorts of noise and rattling.

help :/

pull the codes not sure how to do this as i ditched the fuel injection system for a carb. also check and make sure your #7 and #8 spark plug wires are not close to each other spark loves to jump across them

I would start by making sure you have all the plugs on the correct wires, when you take all the wires off at the same time it is easy to mix them up putting them back on and it would produce the rough running and rattling you describe.

When I did mine I got them mixed up... its not hard to do. I had the same exact thing going on with mine when I was done... missing and rattling...
