Fuel Filter Question

my question is which fuel filter would you prefer?? i have been buying purolater from my local auto parts...i'm basically looking for a filter that comes with the lid also anyone got any brands they like?? i'm driving a 2000 f350 7.3 84,000miles

I had to back away from the monitor with the font you used, tough on the old eyes!
Try without bold.

I get mine from fleetfilters.com

I would agree with the font. I get mine for Auto Zone and have had zero issues with them. Now that I have found this place I will be buying mine from Fleet Filters as well. That is if I don't wait until the last minute.

Ditto on the font! I prefer the Baldwin filter. I get mine from the local diesel shop.

Font is fine, bold is not. I have gotten mine from Orielly and from fleet filter. Both worked.

not sure how accurate this is and if anyone has more info available feel free to add to my comment, a test i read through said there are only two brands available that are absolute 4 micron rated, cat and wix. test was done by cat so it may be bias. i run the wix 33818 fuel filter, wix 51734 oil filter. the fuel filter has the cap built in. hope this helps.

I have been getting the wix fuel filters from NAPA but they dont come with the covers.

Does Geno's Garage sell the ones with the cap?? I use the $17 Racors from there, normally.

I have always got mine from Geno's Garage but AZ had one with the cap for 17 dollars here.

i am not sure if the part number i listed has the cap or not, the ones i have been getting from work have the caps on them, amother reason i run wix, i am lazy and we stock them for our work trucks. i will check the part number on the box.
