Foil Delete Question

When doing the foil delete, if i leave some of the tape on there with some of the insulation, is there a chance that that could catch on fire?

Why would you want to leave some on? I don't think it gets that hot.

Remove the pipe and buy a wire wheel that will fit in your drill. Then go to town, that crap will fly everywhere but it's much faster than using GooGone, Gas, or other chemicals.

I used Crown Sol-U-Strip from Lowes. Worked like a champ. Here's the thread I started on it almost two years ago:

Home Depot varnish stripper worked on all the junk Ford put on the IC pipe. Just need to get some elbow grease going.

No i definitely will it's just that i was in the middle of doing the project when i got a phone call and i needed my truck so i just wanted to make sure there wouldn't be a problem. I will finish it up tomorrow by taking the tubes off and i will paint them and everything.

Alright so the pipes are coming off today. I am going to clean them up and paint them. Do i need any special high heat paint or anything or will regular glossy paint work fine?

I don't think it gets that hot, but the hi-heat would be a good choice. The only thing I KNOW you need is a camera. You know we like pics.
