Just installed 3 gauges and they all seem to work except the pyrometer, when ignition is on gauge is pegged. When I wired it I ran one wire yellow to #10 fuse(Dimmer) and the red to Constant source fuse #18. Thanks in advance for your help.

The yellow wire from the probe should go to the gauge. Wait, before we talk wiring, what type of gauges are they?
Well they are GlowShift so they have different color codes there were two wires coming out of the braided steal jacket off the prob with push connectors one male one female so think I got the male into the female and vise versa. When you turn on the ignition the hand sweeps to the far right then back to 0 then goes to the pegged position to the far right. Thanks for the reply.

Okay, is there a light positive (for lights) and key on positive? Maybe those are switched.
I switched them around and when I do that the gauge needle will change as I increase the lights with the dimmer (more illumination) the gauge needle goes higher.
Thanks again
Jim
Make sure that your Pyrometer has its own chassis ground, I have helped several of my friends with similar problems. On my VDO guages, I only wired the lights together, all of the guage functions need to be wired seperately. Try it, seems to have fixed problems with pyrometers in the past for me.
Well I want to thank everyone who responded to my plea for help, I isolated the ground and that did not help so I was checking on one of the push in butt connectors and it had come unplugged during the running of the wires.
All is well now,
So I have completed the air intake mod 6637, installed the EGT,Trans Temp and Boost gauges in a "A" pillar mount.
Today my Exhaust is arriving by UPS and after next paycheck will be giving TW a call.
Again a BIG THANK YOU to you guys for your guidance with out the support of this forum I would have been lost. JIM
