Help upgrading charging system

I have a 1995 f250 with a 5.8. I snowplow and have extra reverse lights, large light bar and the plow. What is the biggest battery I can fit with little modification? Also would like to upgrade the alternator, what should I look for?

You can fit a 1050 amp batt with no troubles. If I were you I would find a 88-94.5 7.3 idi and get the altenator off of it, you will have to change over the pulleys from the V-belt to the serpentine belt. Also you might think about getting the second battery tray from a diesel as well.

diehard platinum batteries are what we have been installing in plow trucks! They love them! Might want to check into it at Sears (lol i manage an auto center) also mean green alternators might be an options!
