Well I installed my Tranny Saver Injectors from Beans Diesel today. Took a few hours, with two trips to Autozone, first for some "Ford Blue" engine paint to paint the valve covers. Second trip to get a 3/16" brake line to attach to the "mityvac" to suck the oil out of the piston chambers.
The blue valve covers really set off the enigne. I'll post up pics tomorrow.
I can feel the power from the new injectors, plus right off the bat I noticed alot smoother idle, making me wonder if one of my old ones was bad.
According the the pocket dyno on my iPhone, I had some 9 sec 0-60 runs and was putting out 415 Rear wheel HP. Can't wait to get it on a real dyno to find out the torque.
What are Beans "Tranny Savers" comprised of? What are they rated at? I only ask as I don't know what makes a "Tranny Saver" Injector different from any of the other modified injectors.

Rog
Rog...they are about halfway between stock and stage 1's....here is a link
Good to hear! Is your chip burned for the injectors? If not chances are your stock injectors were lacking. Also I can assure (sorry to rain on the parade!) but your not pushing 415 at the rear wheels. Probably about 250 at the wheels if your chip is burned for the injectors. To get even close to accurate HP numbers from track times you need to know the weight of your truck. There are plenty of online HP calculators from 1/4 mile MPH and ET.
EDIT: Bean's say to expect 280 at the wheel with the tranny savers
Just wondering, my factory stamp says 215 bhp stock, how do sticks, exhaust, and a chip only put you at 250-280???
Because 215 hp is measured at the flywheel. Take drive train loss out and your left with about 170 at the rear wheel stock then add injectors and a chip and you come in around 280 at the rear wheels with Tranny savers.

Ok, I didnt know it was at the flywheel. Thanks for clarifying.
