Hmm, getting away from push button gadgets, micro processors and electric and going instead with mechanical linkage and arm motions? Holy cow that is like,,, 1940s,,almost barbaric???
I had thought of that very thing for my EBPV but figured Id get thrown out of the club at the mere mention, LOL.
PS Please fill me in when it is worked out cause I want it!!
Or did you remove the van ...
Should have done the fuel pump (again) while you had the body off...
YIKES!!! I hate ULSD!!!
Maybe its time to remove the nuts from the body bolts and install hood pins.
You guys never get to see the back of the motor where the vannies never
get to see the front.
Could be done in the F. I rotated the valve clockwise. With the F i would
look at counter clockwise.
looks good Bill!! One good thing bout them vans! Turbo is easy to get to unless you have lots of stuff attached to the dog house!
BTW I didn't know you ran PP. Do you use it often or just when playing?
Yup. Still with PP. Over 100K with it. Not used all the time though.
Its setup for a 1 and 3 psi gain in boost. The 1 psi is good for setting off the fuel. It helps with mpg and keeps the oil cleaner. The 3 psi is just for more power type of thing on the grades. Never use it with higher than a 60 tune.
So far this manual method control of the EBPV is working good.
One benefit so far is with full control of the valve you can set it at 1/4,
1/2, ect closed. OEM is open or closed. I do not have to drive thru the valve
waiting for it to open. The motor will not lay down now.
If anything i will be able to see just how much the use of the EBPV
system contaminates your oil.
