Everyone complains about the locking hubs being a problem with the ESOF system. But those are at least easy to replace. After reading all this and seeing how complex the rest of the system is, it sure makes the shifter on the floor more appealing.

krewat my truck is pretty plain no keyless entry or anything like that so as long as the gem doesn't have anything to do with the motor configs. I think it will work. Dchamberlain I agree with you a manual would be alot simpler. I'll try to find the part in the scrap yard and let you know how I make out. It might be a while as I live 3 hours out of the city with a scrap yard. Thank again for all the help.
