Are you looking to put in a dually rearend? Depending on what year your donor truck is, shouldn't be hard at all. Their all pretty much the same drivetrain, your just swapping it from one truck to another.
if you are talking about a 4X4 front end, the Dana 60 front axle swap is a straight forward bolt in. two men, 6 hours, and a six-pack of your favorite frosty beverage.
if you are talking about a 2 wheeler, the 250 and 350 use the same suspension parts.
as far as the radiator goes, i replace them instead of trying to fix them. you fix one leak, and it is only gonna start leaking somewhere else.
frosty is a 4x4, im not sure what my husband was thinking about doing this for. we talked about it a long time ago.
now i have another question.
the powerstrokes you can chip, my truck has the 7.3 but it is an indirect injected system rather than direct injection. my husband is in diesel mechanic school now with the navy (seabee) and he says they are almost identical(beside the fancy name and the fact that the powerstroke came with fords turbo instead of the after market banks one on mine) so, can you chip the '92 indirect injected 7.3l?
With all due respect, the 7.3 idi and the 7.3 Powerstrokes are two completely different beasts. Some of the 93-94.5 7.3 idis actually came with a factor turbo, but they weren't called Powerstrokes.
Its one of the reasons I hate the metric system of measurement, Because the 7.3 idi is a 446 cu, and the 7.3 Powerstroke is a 444, but the idi's don't have any computers at all, they are a mechanical motor. The only similaraty between the two motors is the mounts are the same along with the bellhousing pattern.

as Dean said, the IDI you have is a completely different animal than the powerstroke. and there is no computer to put a chip into.
since you have a banks turbo setup on your truck, it is better than a powerstroke anyway.
a banks equipped IDI will throw down higher HP and torque numbers than a powerstroke.
OK! I talked to my husband and i cleared up what he was wanting to do with the truck and rear end crap.
It was so long ago i couldnt remember exactly what he was saying, but i remember now!
He wants to put 350 leafs in the back and my back leafs in the front. I know, totally different than what i originally said, but now that i have it cleared up, here we go.
