radiator support question

is it possible to swap out a radiator support without removing the radiator?
if so how to?...

Why wouldn't you want to remove the radiator? I mean, it's only like 10 bolts that hold it on there.

wasnt sure. fitst time doing this.
also i know there is a small radiator thingy for the tranny.
whats the medium size one for?

The tranny fluid cooler is inside the radiator (automatic transmission only).

Yea, you'll need to undo the fan shroud, to get it out, take the rad hoses and coolant overflow hose off, drain it, and there are some bolts to undo it from the core support. After that it's pretty simple. While you have the core support off, are you changing out the water pump and fan clutch? Would be the easiest time to do, it short of pulling the engine off.

Put a sheet of cardboard between the fan and radiator, so if the radiator moves or slips as you're removing it, it won't fall into the fan.
