Front End Noise
I Have a 02 F350 7.3 SWD 4x4.. I have a roaring noise coming from the front end.. I think... I just replaced all the ball joints, u-joints and 2 new front hubs(Ford)..also installed new pads and turned rotors.. Could one of the hubs be bad or what else can I look for..Going to check and make sure caliper is'nt dragging.. running out of options...

I had a similar noise. It was the needle bearings. Sounds like your running on rough asphault right? Comes and goes?
Somebody may be able to more better articulate the technicallities but
they were the bearings for the shaft right just before the hub. I thought it was my hubs too... but it was only a $100 repair.

I have had calipers slides stick and drag ,make noise. Sometimes after a brake job the pistons decide they don't like too be forced open, too install new pads and start sticking.My truck did this two different times.I'd drive it a few miles and get out and see if either side gets hot.
